Christian Monks, MA, RCAT
Life goes up and life goes down. I am interested in how to cope when the ocean of life takes us down. When we suffer, there is a loss of perspective. In order to not only stay afloat but to ride the waves skillfully we need to create greater distance between ourselves and life’s challenges. In order to create that greater space, I offer a variety of therapeutic approaches which include Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Training, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Art Therapy and Gottman trained Couple’s Counselling. I have an interest in Trauma and I am specialized to work with Children exhibiting Problematic Sexualized Behaviours.
